Jigisha Hanel Chief Financial Officer
Ms. Jigisha Hanel is an accomplished finance executive with more than 25-years of financial, operational and strategic planning experience working with a wide breadth of companies and clients in the healthcare sector (hospitals and health systems, physician management service organizations, physician groups, health insurance and managed care organizations, pharmaceutical and biotech startups). She started her career at the Big Four accounting firms providing financial audit, consulting, and advisory services including financial due diligence, regulatory compliance, internal controls, and board governance to her healthcare clients for over 15 years. Over the past decade, Jigisha has held finance and accounting management positions for health systems and private equity backed physician management service organizations. She has experience in leading and transforming accounting operations teams, implementing process improvements, managing cost savings initiatives, and developing capital and operating budgets.
Jigisha has served on boards of nonprofits and accounting trade associations providing leadership and finance oversight. Jigisha is a certified public accountant and obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics with honors and holds dual degree certificates in accounting and finance from University of Maryland, Baltimore County. She calls Maryland home with her daughter, and enjoys cooking, traveling, country music and wine.
