Dr. Douglas Wisor is a recognized physician leader & executive spanning a 25+ year career. He is a US Army Veteran, and is widely considered as one of the nation’s foremost leading authorities in minimally-invasive spine & pain (MISP) procedures. Dr. Wisor’s background includes extensive commercial success leading & scaling a private-equity backed physician health care services platform. In his last leadership role, he was the CEO of National Spine & Pain Centers (NSPC), where he was instrumental in growing the company to the largest PE-backed MISP platform in the country. By the time he stepped down in 2022, he had grown the company to over 125 office & ASC service locations with more than 300 pain specialists treating pain patients across 13 states.
Dr. Wisor has been featured on Fox News Channel’s “The Kelly File”, lobbied Congress on responsible health care reform, and is often invited to speak on business topics at nationally recognized health care conferences such as Becker’s ASC and McDermott, Will & Emery AHLA. He has also served on the past clinical advisory boards of St. Jude Medical and CarePredict. He is an avid athlete and was inducted into the Dickinson College Sports Team Hall of Fame; he currently enjoys playing golf in Richmond, VA where he resides and is frequently unanimously outvoted on internal family decisions by his devoted wife of nearly 30 years, and their 3 amazing young adult daughters!
